Rainer Hoffmueller - Worldwide - Managing Director
Rainer founded DesignR1. As a programmer, ACT! by Sage Certified Consultant, SageCRM Development Partner, with extensive experience in the semi-conductor industry, he has set the tone for technical expertise and accuracy with an honest and helpful approach to customer needs. An Australian/German who is based in Phoenix AZ, his enjoyment is finding solutions to business needs. His eye for detail is the terror of the firm but he takes the teasing like a true gentleman.
Hobbies - Work and work.
James Kingstone - Worldwide - Sales Marketing Director
James founded DesignR1 with Rainer in the UK. Although he studied Art in Toronto, James has worked in so many fields it isn't possible to list them all but his favourite work was translating from German to English for the Super Touring Car Championships across Germany. Mainly concerned with marketing and business development, he most enjoys interacting with the clients and brainstorming. Banter is usually involved. He most admires the "techies" and how they make ideas reality for clients.
Hobbies - Riding his Yamaha R1 at ungodly speeds.
Mark Hammer - Worldwide - Technical Director
Mark came to DesignR1 directly from Sage in Phoenix where he worked in QA on the new breed of SQL-based ACT! One of the most knowledgeable ACT! Consultants today, Mark is also a SageCRM Certified Consultant and a hardware freak. Taking charge of our web and database hosting services, Mark has general oversight of all things ACT! Young, quick, and very energetic, Mark' decisiveness and wide knowledge is a great asset to DesignR1.
Hobbies - Family first, then Fry's Electronics then tormenting James!
Greg Ferber - Portland Office - Senior Consultant/Programmer
Joining us as an experienced consultant who also worked at Sage in technical support Greg Ferber has been programming since age 5 and he is now regarded as one of the top programmers working with ACT! Since his addition to DesignR1, he has been very busy with ACT! Add-on projects such as Outlook IntegrateR1 and AutomateR1. Way too brainy for the likes of Kingstone in marketing!
Hobbies - Films, going on car rallies, and backpacking.
Michael Kadlub - Clevland, Ohio Office - Senior Consultant
Michael has been an ACT! Certified Consultant since 1997. He has been an ACT! Premier Trainer since the program began in 2001. Michael enjoys all aspects of the ACT! program from pre-install to complete implementation and training. He has also consulted/trained other CRM packages such as GoldMine, TeleMagic and SalesLogix. Michael is based in our Cleveland, Ohio office serving the Midwest.

Kevin Ryan - Portland Office - Programmer
Currently studying Computer Engineering Kevin has worked with a wide variety of programming from robotics to databases. For DesignR1 Kevin assists Greg with programming.

Larissa Urrutia - Phoenix Office - Reception
Larissa helps with many administrative office tasks including the all-important customer quotations and reception. Petite, quiet and very artistic Larissa can also speak Spanish.
Hobbies - 3D animation and art.
Cindy Sturdevant - Phoenix Office - HR
Cindy started as our first office manager when things got too hectic for us. Her cheerful, professional telephone manner is a delight and she now supports multiple projects.
Hobbies - Family, home decorating and entertaining guests.
Jan Brown - UK Southern Regional Office - Senior Consultant
Jan has an excellent business background that gives her the ability to assist companies of any size to utilize the features of ACT! to enhance their profile and profitability with an experienced understanding of sales, marketing or financial departments. Jan has been an avid ACT! user since 1994 and a qualified ACT! Certified Consultant since 2000.
Hobbies - Cooking like a goddess.
Jenny Upson - UK Eastern Regional Office - Associate Consultant
Qualifying as one of the first ACC's in the UK, Jenny has specialised in ACT! implementations and training ever since. She has experience setting up internal operational processes to support the Sales Team and advanced ACT! Training programs. Previous experience as a Sales/Account Manager, as an IT Field Operations Manager, and a Mortgage Underwriter has given Jenny a good grasp of business requirements and how these can be met by ACT!
Hobbies - groupie to her partner's Blues Band.
William Lee - Ireland Office - Associate Consultant
William has over 20 years of management experience at various levels within international companies and has been an ACT! Consultant for over 10 years. William won the ACT! award for sales achievement in 2004 and his experience has helped customers in the Financial, IT, Medical and Pharmaceutical sectors in particular.
Hobbies - Probably Guinness.
James Burlew - Portland Office - CRM Consultant
James has a background in Sage technical support and has recently joined us to care for our customer's technical issues and in particular to support our web-hosting service. He is also well placed to look after our customers in the North West as an on-site consultant. A tad laid-back this boy!
Hobbies - Flight Simulator, ex-nightclub DJ turned family man. Sad.
Tom McPeek – Phoenix Office – CRM Consultant
Tom claims his birth in New Mexico was the result of an atomic detonation gone horribly wrong. We agree. After a couple of California Universities he settled in Arizona. His background is IT, web development and business technology. Tom recently passed his ACT! Certified Consultant exams with flying colours and will focus on the Phoenix area.
Hobbies – Coaching his sons’ football and baseball teams, woodworking (does he make the bats?) and volleyball.
